When planning your meals, aim to make half your plate fruits and veggies! Get inspiration from our collection of resources, including cookbooks as well as tips on how to prepare fruits and veggies. To get you started check out these tips from MyPlate.gov:

  • Add Them to Your Sandwiches: Whether it is a sandwich or a wrap , vegetables make great additions to both. Try sliced tomatoes or avocado.
  • Liven Up an Omelet: Boost the color and flavor of your morning omelet with vegetables. Simply chop, saute, and add them to the egg as it cooks. Try combining different vegetables such as bell peppers and mushrooms.
